Love Not Hate...? (updated)

Just thought add share another "act of love" shown by a Prop 8 opposer.
Jesse and I were driving down Garner Lane this evening and we saw a women stopped on the side of the road with a bunch of Yes on 8 signs in hand, she was taking them from the side of the road. We stopped beside her and Jesse said "Have you ever heard of free speach" she seemed to be a little startled but said "it's public property" then jumped into her car, which by the way was covered with Obama bumper sticker.
Well, she was right it was public property.. and there is nothing anyone can do about her taking the signs but if I would have been a little quicker on my feat I would have said "exactly it is public property, someone put them there leave them there for the sake of freedom of speech." What really got me was that this was a lady who was in her early 30's she was pretty, I'm sure a mom, to young children, she was driving a nice car... doesn't she have anything better to do then to spend her Sunday evening taking down signs. She has her freedom of speech too, why doesn't she spend time supporting her cause instead to trying to deny someone else's freedom of speech. Geesh!
By the way..thanks to the lovely Laurie Meyer a few hours later all those prop 8 signs were replaced.. plus more. Way to be on top of it Laurie (you are awesome)

Hey Kin, for future reference, that is totally ILLEGAL!! You cannot take down any political signs from public property. There were a handful of people arrested in our neighborhood the last 2 weeks for doing exactly what she did. Next time, call the cops and report her! Hey, at least we won!!
